One of our lab’s first PhD students, Kasia Hencel, successfully defended her PhD thesis. Before her examination, she gave an excellent talk. She defended her thesis to two external examiners, Dr Jennifer Tullet of the University of Kent and Dr Jean-Michel Fustin of the University of Manchester, with Prof Ian Clark as the internal chair.
